What an enjoyable day we had at our end of year celebration which had a ‘Very Hungry Caterpillar’ theme. During the day we explored bubble trays, made jam sandwiches, decorated caterpillar crowns, created butterfly collages, made banana smoothies (yum!) and chopped up fruits which are featured in the book ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’. Thank you to the parents/carers who joined us for the picnics in the garden. It was wonderful to get together to celebrate a year of fun, friendships and learning.
