Last week the two year olds went on two train trips. We left Cashmore and walked to Lawrence Hill train station. Whilst waiting for our train, we watched the trains go by and sang ‘Down at the Station’ and ‘This Little Train’. After the short journey we got off at Bedminster train station and walked to a local green space where we ate snack, ran around, tried to catch bubbles, played lycra games, blew dandelion seed heads and sang our favourite nursery rhymes. It was then time to make the return journey. A big thank you to the parent/carers who volunteered as without them it would not have been possible.
