On Wednesday 16th July, we held our special End of Year celebration with a delightful Teddy Bears Picnic. The preparations were just as exciting as the event itself, with Tiger and Zebra groups creating colourful paper chains whilst Hippo and Giraffe groups made beautiful bunting to decorate our nursery garden.
During group time, the children enjoyed making their own jam sandwiches for the picnic, developing their independence and practical life skills. They also had the wonderful opportunity to show their friends the special teddy bear or toy they had brought from home, encouraging sharing and communication within their groups.
Families joined us for this joyful celebration on what turned out to be a bright, sunny day. We all enjoyed eating food together, listening to music, and popping bubbles whilst sitting outside on our blankets with our cherished teddy bears – the perfect way to celebrate this school year.
It’s time to say goodbye and good luck to our friends who are heading to school this September – we hope you have an amazing time! To all those coming back next year, we hope you have a lovely summer holiday and we will see you in September.
