Strawberry Lane’s community gardening sessions are starting again from 30 September at Beaufort Road Allotment, BS5. These welcoming drop-in sessions take place every Wednesday from 10.30am to 12.30pm and are open to everyone, whether you enjoy gardening, would like to learn new skills, or simply want to spend time outdoors.
Participants can help care for a shared green space, meet new people, support local wildlife and wellbeing, and take part in seasonal nature craft activities throughout the year. No experience is needed, and all tools, materials, refreshments, tea and biscuits are provided.
Please note that, due to the uneven nature of the site, the sessions may not be accessible to everyone. If you would like to discuss any specific needs or have any questions, please get in touch with the organisers. For anyone unsure of the location, a meet-up can be arranged at Wellspring, Ducie Street at 10am for a guided walk to the allotment. Advance notice is required.
